Skills Competition - Krug's shootout goal

A little more on the skills competition today (besides Perlini's 100 mph shot).

Leveille & Berry proved to be the most accurate shooters, but the biggest highlight might go to one of the smallest guys on the ice  -  Captain & All-American Candidate Torey Krug scored this sick shoot-out goal during the SO competition .....

That's just not right.

New Rankings Are In

The Spartans moved back into the Top 20 of the USCHO.com rankings at #17. The funny thing is, the team they just swept, and the team that has yet to win a game in 2012 somehow still comes ranked in ahead of Michigan State. Ohio State is 15th, and both teams are four games above .500, and Michigan State won the season series three games to one.

Michigan State came in the other votes category at #17 in the USA Today poll as well. Ohio State didn't receive a single vote in this poll, but Ferris State somehow managed a first place vote. Though going 7-0-3 in their last 10 probably helps.  Trying to explain these polls is well..... just not possible.

Michigan State is back in INCH.com's power poll at #19. They also do not have Ohio State in the rankings.
